SAP Project Manager (PMP) with government, FHWA Billing, CAFR reporting, and solution architect experience

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The candidate will provide sap and prior government experience and knowledge to ensure successful implementation of multiple ongoing SCEIS projects. He/she will assist SCEIS project manager and project team with overall reporting/CAFR issues and provide strategic and implementation planning expertise. As the project enters a new project phase and preparations are made to deploy processes to additional state agencies, there are specific competency and experience in the project organization. This position is to secure an appropriate subject matter expert to address the needs for FHWA billing, CAFR reporting, and provide project and strategic SAP and IT planning and delivery expertise.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Access / participate in the resolution of problems, concerns and
issues as required to facilitate orderly / controlled project implementation
• Assess project risks based on best practice project experiences
• Provide suggestion/recommendations of SAP deployment to State
project leadership to in order to mitigate risks and control issues
• Provide planning services for projecting future strategic direction,
future projects, and SAP functional / technical direction.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• 12 years of sap experience
• SAP state/public sector rollouts
• SAP solution architect experience
• 10 years project management experience on complex multiple business
application, multiple organization projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced problem solving skills (capable of handling complex
problems)
• Demonstrates leadership
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
4 year college degree (BS/BA)
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
PMP®
