2. Integrates software, tests and modifies components and application modules produced by outside vendors, contractors, suppliers, or other entities, so that these modules perform as designed in the agency environment.
3. Develops the necessary documentation for project statements of work, business requirements, storyboards, functional specifications, systems & end-user documentation through a process of meeting with customers and clients, documenting the requirements specified by those clients, and translating those requirements into project documentation and specifications.
4. Investigates errors and problems within application components and modules, remediates and solves these issues, and communicates these solutions to application customers and users using specific application defect-tracking methodology and software.
5. Report progress weekly to management and project manager.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a short term (approx. 12 months) Lead Analyst for the Transition to Community Living project for the Division of Information Resource Management (DIRM). This resource will provide senior-level systems analysis, business analysis, modeling and programming for primarily web applications and conversion from MS Access database to a SQL server database environment. The selected candidate must be a results-oriented individual with a very strong work ethic and must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical, application design, application development, testing, implementation, communication and problem-solving skills. The Replacement Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) project is one of the largest IT projects for the State of South Carolina. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversight/supervision of the installation of the systems listed above.
• Certification and sign-off on completed installations.
Project Management Services
This position is responsible for coordinating designated installation crews and assigned projects, insuring quality and timeliness of installation projects, and overall project management. Project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
• Conducting/attending meetings with contractors
• Coordinating contractors/trades
• Reviewing plans, drawings, schedules, etc.
• Manage major project tasks and time lines
• Conducting site inspections
• Quality Assurance
• Receiving, reviewing and approving submittals and deliverables
• Preparing/reviewing punch lists
• Conducting acceptance meetings
• Managing the Change Order/Service Order process
• Insuring quality and timeliness of installation projects.
• Project Documentation as necessary
