ColdFusion developer with Flash, ASP, Access, SQL Server, MySQL and online training development experience

Location: Remote

Duration: 11 Months  

Comments: This position will work as Web Designer for the SC Budget & Control Board, Division of State IT, SCEIS project. 

Researches, consults with client and produces interactive website pages for identified set of training courses, forms, documentation; provides visual image consistency.

Initiates, develops and implements short and long-term plans for the retrieval of information to and from the website, progressive website improvement, and improvement of user interactive website capabilities.

Develops and implements website scripting and programming, cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility, reporting procedures.

Provides technical website problem solving and consultation to effectively deploy materials to users.

Manages the initial effectiveness of website links, application and database utilization related to project.

Establishes and manages website user standards, services and expectations related to project.

Compares and reformats approved scripts into “narrative” versions. Finalizes script in collaboration with SCEIS team.

Develops graphics, records narrations, converts files into Flash and develops animation. Publishes .SWF files. 

Finalizes coding production and provides pre-production testing and proofing; provides post-production consultation related to user’s access concerns.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): ColdFusion and Flash development. Coding experience with ASP, Access, HTML, MSSQL, MySQL and JavaScript. Experience with developing web tools for online training and user support.
