DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Modeling Specialist will work with subject matter experts
(SMEs), project management staff, and operations management staff to
help document the agency’s business architecture. The Business
Modeling Specialist will translate text, conversations, and incomplete
or non-conforming models describing the agency’s business processes,
business data, and business rules into conforming models using
standard notations. The specialist will assist the staff in
understanding how to properly elicit business information from end
users, and provide over-the-shoulder assistance to SMEs in building
draft business architecture documents. The specialist will also
participate in the quality management processes used to improve the
business architecture documentation. The Business Modeling Specialist
may also participate and/or lead classic requirements gathering
activities including functional and non-functional requirements. The
specialist may also assist in identifying opportunities for business
process improvement based on analyses of existing business processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
•       At least 3 years experience in business modeling including the use
of BPMN, UML, and entity-relationship diagrams
•       A strong understanding of workflow concepts.
•       Ability to identify and analyze business process patterns.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
These contractors will work closely with the Director of the Division
of Application Development to identify and prioritize work-load and
scheduling. They will also work closely in a technical capacity with
technical and program area staff in various areas to complete this
project. The technical skills required for this position are outlined
in the Beeline System. Each position will be utilized 37.5 hours per
week for the duration of this project. Prior Electronic Medical Record
(EMR), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Health Level 7 (HL7)

This project will further enhance the current immunization registry
(IR) by providing a portal for self registration of users and provider
practices. The Provider Portal module will become the electronic
method for requesting access to the IR and as such will be built with

and confidentiality. The contractors will be responsible for coding,
documenting and testing of the various components of the Provider
Portal. All code will be written in ASP.NET. All code will be properly
documented using XML documentation standards.  All data will be housed
in DHEC’s DB2 enterprise database. The positions will require
extensive liaison with the Information Technology staff within the
agency and the IR data analyst. The high level functional requirements
have been completed. This scope of work consists of designing, coding,
documenting and testing of provider registration module. The
functional elements include provider registration/update, provider

system.

The Medicaid Member Management project is one of the most complex technology development projects undertaken by Clemson University on behalf of the State of South Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS). This project is a multi-year effort to replace the State's Medicaid Eligibility Determination System (MEDS) with a multi- tier application environment that requires modern technologies, technical practices and substantial collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

THIS PROJECT INCLUDES PROVIDING DESKTOP COMPUTER SUPPORT TO INCLUDE MAC AND PC WORKSTATIONS.

 

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

WORK WITH DISTRIBUTED SUPPORT TEAM TO PERFORM BASIC DESKTOP TROUBLE- SHOOTING TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES OF MAC (OS X) AND WINDOWS (XP, VISTA, AND 7)  OPERATING SYSTEMS AND PERIPHERALS ( INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NETWORK & LOCAL PRINTERS, EXTERNAL NETWORK AND LOCAL DATA STORAGE; CONFIGURATION OF MS EXCHANGE CLIENTS ON MAC AND WINDOWS PLATFORMS; MAC NETBOOT & WINDOWS SYSTEM CENTER IMAGING AND DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER RELATIONS SKILLS & ABILITY TO WORK WITH A WIDE RANGE OF COMPUTER USER SKILL LEVELS (FACULTY, STAFF & STUDENTS) IN A UNIVERSITY SETTING; MAC AND/OR PC DESKTOP CERTIFICATIONS PREFERRED; CAPABLE OF WORKING WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION; PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF LIFTING AND CARRY AT LEAST 25 POUNDS.

-Experience exporting data to flat files for submission to an enterprise Oracle database.

-Experience with Advanced configurations of Access.

-Experience with database design, implementation and documentation.

-Ability to work independently with flexibility and positive attitude.
