REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: SAP FICO / SAP Public Sector Academy
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The candidate will provide sap and prior government experience and knowledge to ensure successful implementation of multiple ongoing SCEIS projects. He/she will assist SCEIS project manager and project team with the SAP system implementation at SC Department of Transportation and processes related to the CAFR generation and reconciliation process. As the project enters a new project phase and preparations are made to deploy processes to additional state agencies, there are specific competency and experience in the project organization. This position is to secure an appropriate subject matter expert to address the needs for CAFR and provide SAP public sector financial applications planning and delivery expertise.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Access / participate in the preparation for the CAFR process for
FY10 simulation
• Access / participate in the preparation for the CAFR process for
FY11 simulation
• Support reconciliation and design activities with SCEIS and the CG
• Assess project risks based on best practice project experiences
• Provide suggestion/recommendations of SAP deployment to State
project leadership to in order to mitigate risks and control issues
• Provide planning services for projecting future impacts
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
STRONG SAP FINANCE/GENERAL LEDGER EXPERIENCE WITH PRIOR STATE/LOCAL GOVERNMENT
• Prior experience supporting other Satet/DOT FHWA Billing
Certification, Audit and Demonstration
• 10 years of SAP Financials experience
• Experience with multiple full cycle SAP state/public sector rollouts
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
4 year college degree (BS/BA)
