SCDPPS, ITSS, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with an extensive background in Microsoft, VMware and SAN technologies and possessing MCSE, MCSA, MCP, A+, and Project+ certifications. This engineer will be in charge of evaluating, recommending, architecting and implementing a Windows Active Directory Server infrastructure. The engineer will also be required to document and train agency personnel on Active Directory, Windows Server and like technologies. The engineer will be responsible for the Active Directory design, implementation and support of the entire Server farm.

 

Technical Pre-requisites/Requirements:

-- 7 yrs minimum demonstrated expertise in enterprise installation, implementation, and administration experience.

- 3 yrs minimum Exchange 2003 & 2007

- 3 yrs minimum VMware and NetApp SAN

-- Windows 2003/2008 Server - in depth knowledge: performance monitoring, AD/GPO, Terminal server, DFS, patch management.

-- Migrating clients' existing infrastructure into a hosted infrastructure (Exchange, applications/databases, file system, etc)

-- Adding structure to IT operations - implementing change management, documentation, best practices, etc.

 

Preference will be given to any candidates with these additional

skills:

-- Citrix/Terminal Services

-- VMware VCP

-- MS Sharepoint

-- MS System Center Operations Manager

-- MS Office Communication Server

-- Advanced networking monitoring/troubleshooting

-- Formal project management

-- VB scripting
