Business Analyst with cobol/legacy conversion, project management and government experience

The Client Project has been established to implement SAP for client’s “back office” business processes related to finance, budgeting, grants management, materials management, human resources and payroll. Working under the direction of the Client Architecture, Design and Technology Lead, the selected Systems/Application Analyst will provide application design and development expertise, working with agencies to facilitate the interface and conversions from their current legacy applications. This will include assistance in developing data, processes, procedures and functionality necessary to adapt the agency systems to the standard Client interface and conversion formats. The Analyst must have an in-depth knowledge/experience of information technology in use within state government.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide application design and expertise to assist agencies in managing and making the necessary modifications to their legacy systems in order to meet the Client interface and conversion requirements. Including providing assistance in developing data processes, procedures and functionality affected by these interfaces and conversions.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of a team of developers dedicated to assisting agencies with their legacy applications development and modification.
• Assist the Client technical interface team by acting as a key liason between the Client team and the agencies
