Data Architect with enterprise architecture, microsoft techonologies, data/process/event models, database migration, xml, ddl, .net programming, SIF, IMS, JSON, APIP, NoSQL and data warehousing/ETL experience

The candidate will be scored on the following REQUIRED skills:
1. 10 years of experience of broad level IT experience including expertise in enterprise architecture with extensive experience working with Microsoft technologies and solutions.
2. 8 years of experience as a database architect and in developing conceptual, logical & physical data models.
3. 8 years of experience analyzing business processes and designing solutions through data modeling, process modeling, and event modeling techniques.
4. 8 years of experience designing and executing large database migrations, including consolidation of multiple databases
5. 5 years of experience with Extensible Markup Language (XML)
6. 5 years of experience with Data Definition Language (DDL)
7. 5 years of experience with n-tier application development.
8. Experience in leading database teams
9. Experience interfacing with technology leadership as well as the business client.
Additional skills that are considered highly desirable and may be used to supplement close scoring and assist in making a final selection are:
1. Knowledge of the School Interoperability Framework (SIF)
2. Knowledge Instructional Management Systems (IMS)
3. Experience with the following technologies:
4. JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
5. Accessible Portable Item Protocol (APIP)
6. NoSQL
7. Data warehouse experience.
8. Application development experience with Microsoft Programming Languages.
9. Experience performing the data processing function of extract-transform-load (ETL) using an automated tool.
The candidate must meet the basic qualifications of 10 or more years of generic IT experience as defined for a Technology Consultant. In addition, this position requires a concentration in database design, metadata management, developing and implementing data policy, physical database modifications, directing the work of IT personnel and other duties relating to Data Administration. Each candidate will score between 1 and the maximum possible for each category. Points will be determined from review of the experience section NOT from the “Summary of Skills” area of a resume or application.
