The Department of Transportation is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month) assignment to assist with the configuration of AGA advanced search for one specific Release 1 document storage solution:

Responsibilities:

• Configuration of AGA 10.5 integration with SharePoint FAST search including metadata 

• Configuration of AGA site deployment and creation of deployment templates for team sites and project sites (no more than 2 templates)

• Configure or develop content move mechanism for automatically changing the Storage Provider for select documents based on metadata, including documentation of code and custom API

• Develop and test Oscript code to integrate Open Text workflow with external web services according to the below figure, including documentation of code and custom API

• Develop and test script to automatically create Open Text folder permissions for AD groups via the Open Text web services API, based on the below figure, including documentation of code and custom APIs

• Develop LiveReports for custom reporting needs (no more than 5 reports)

• Knowledge transfer to NCDOT staff 

• Support the creation of written documentation by NCDOT staff for all of the above items 

• While onsite, general application support as needed, limited to 4h per week, in tandem with NCDOT staff

Expectations to Accomplish:

• Configured Release 1 AGA advanced search 

• Configured FAST / AGA 10.5 integration 

• Configured AGA site deployment 

• Max. 2 AGA site deployment templates, one for team sites, one for project sites 

• Content move mechanism to change the Storage Provider including documentation 

• Module for Open Text workflow integration with external web services including documentation 

• Script for automatic Open Text folder permissioning including documentation 

• Max. 5 LiveReports

• Documentation support

• Knowledge transfer 

• Application support   

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Required:

• Minimum of three (3) Years Experience in development on the OpenText Content Server (Livelink) enterprise content management system, specifically around Metadata taxonomy, search design, workflows, and reports.

• Minimum of three (3) Years Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database integration and understanding of Content Server Schema as well as query optimization

• Proven experience with OpenText implementations 

• Demonstrable track record of deploying and managing Enterprise Content Management applications 

• OpenText administration, patch, and upgrade experience 

• Records Management implementation and support experience 

• Experience with OpenText core modules, Workflows, RM Module, Classifications, RM Classifications, etc 

• Certification in CSC Catalyst methodology for managing enterprise information system lifecycles.

• Minimum of five (5) Years Experience in use and administration of Microsoft SharePoint

• Proven experience with OpenText SharePoint AGA design, configuration, and deployment.

Preferred

• Experience in integrating Open Text with SharePoint

• Experience in managing OpenText support tickets with OpenText support

• Experience in working with OpenText product managers in the facilitation of product enhancements and incidents

• Experience in upgrading Content Server (Livelink) environments

• Prior or recent government security clearance
