Location: COLUMBIA, SC 

Duration: 1 year (20-60 hrs/week)

These contractors will work closely with the client Deputy Director to identify and prioritize work-load and scheduling. This person will also work closely in a technical capacity with technical and program area staff in various areas to complete this project. Each position will be utilized somewhere between 20 to 60 hours per week for the duration of this project. Prior Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT), South Carolina Community Assessment Network (SCAN) and Birth Data Exchange Engine (BEE) development experience, while not required, will be weighted heavily. This project will further enhance the current SCAN web-based data query system and the Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) portal through integration and migrations to more current technology that is device and browser neutral. Additional work on the existing BEE system to address new module (Fetal and Infant Mortality Review) and grant requirements (additional patient follow-up for hearing loss) will be a central focus of this project. Development of a Burial Removal and Transit Permit tracking system that integrates with incoming faxes and the agency Imaging solution is part of this project also. Additional maintenance and upgrade work on existing agency systems will also be a minor component of this project.
