ABAP Developer with Portal Development, HR/Benefits Enrollment/Concurrent Employment, JAVA WEB DYNPRO, SAP Employee Self-Service (ESS) and K-12/academic/government experience

Responsibilities

Enhance/Customize SAP ESS applications, such as Benefits Open Enrollment, Pay Statement, Time Statement, etc.

Review M-DCPS development requests, functional specifications

Design, develop and test portal (including ESS) enhancements as required using JAVA Web Dynpro

Knowledge on ESS Configuration a plus

Implement User Authorization profiles and security roles

Report delays and risks to team leads

Adhere to ERP MDCPS standards

Build solutions in SAP Employee Self-Service according to M-DCPS business requirements

Qualifications

SAP version ECC 6 implementation with Enhancement Pack 3 experience

SAP version 7.01 Portal experience

Minimum of four years SAP Employee Self-Service (ESS), Portal developer experience

Extensive knowledge and experience of Web Dynpro for Java with SAP ESS required

Strong knowledge and experience with ABAP development especially related to ESS

Strong understanding of ESS integration with backend SAP HR modules

Experience with customization of ESS Benefits Enrollment strongly preferred

Experience with SAP Concurrent Employment a plus

Experience with K-12 or other Public Sector implementation a plus

Ability to communicate in oral and written form effectively

Must be able to participate in a team environment
