Helpdesk Support Engineer with printer/copier, computers/servers, networking, vendor management, MS Office,

Project: District Multi-functional Device (Copier) Replacement Program

Customer Support Analyst: This position will be responsible for the identified project with guidance from Project Administrator.

Responsibilities

·         Coordinate with vendors to ensure that multi-functional devices are ordered, delivered and installed at various locations throughout the District in accordance with the District’s bid.

Contact vendors to provide updated service histories and page counts of currently installed devices.

Provide Project Administrator with the above data to evaluate and determine proper replacement class for each eligible device.

Prepare letters to be sent to each location’s Principal for their replacement selection.

Upon return of the Principal’s signed selection, process purchase requests through the District’s ERP system.

Track each purchase request to ensure that it becomes a purchase order.

Ensure that vendor has received purchase order and verify delivery ETA.

Notify location and verify that that they did not encounter any delivery issues. If issues are found, contact vendor and resolve.

Receive and verify that all invoice documentation as required per the bid has been delivered and is correct to process for signature.

Input data about newly installed device into Excel spreadsheet database.

·         Assist locations with any vendor issues, i.e.: service, ordering of supplies (toner, staples), etc.

·         Provide basic assistance to staff for the various copiers located within the ITS facility..

Qualifications

Candidates must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), excellent listening, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of IT hardware (multi-functional devices, computers, servers, voice and data switches, etc.),

Excellent PC skills, with extensive experience with Microsoft Word and complex Excel Spreadsheets, practical knowledge in importing data for use into spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts.

Proven data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities.

Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
