Business Objects Consultant With ETL, OLTP, BOBJ, 3NF data modeling, MS SQL Server and Data Integration Experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•Utilize Business Objects Data Integrator XI R2 ETL to extract data from legacy OLTP system VSAM data and populate a MS SQL Server database to prepare data for data conversion into new system.

•Utilize Business Objects Data Quality XI R2  or above to clean the data.

•Design the target MS SQL Server database that will house the data for conversion to new system.

•Provide effective and timely oral and written communications to management, peers and users

•Identification and escalation of issues and risks to management in a timely manner

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•3+ years of experience in building complex extract, transformation and load (ETL) processes with BOBJ Data Integrator

•Experienced in full lifecycle ETL processes including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training and support

•Experienced with Data Quality components of BOBJ Data Services

•3NF data modeling

•Able to interpret business requirements, develop technical specs and test processes to meet requirements

•Able to formulate technical resolutions to business issues

•Problem-solving, troubleshooting skills

•Work closely with others in a team environment

•Able to work independently, self-motivated

•Excellent communication skills; fluent in English

PREFERRED SKILLS:

•Experience with Attunity add-on to BOBJ Data Integrator

•Experience in technical architecting
