RESPONSIBILITIES: 

ANALYZE, DOCUMENT AND IF TIME ALLOWS IMPLEMENT DAILY TAPE BACKUPS OF SYSTEM AND APPLICATION FILES FOR OFFSITE STORAGE AS PART OF DISASTER RECOVERY STRATEGY.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

•6+ years experience as Systems Programmer on IBM z/OS

•Experience with designing a implementing backup strategy for z/OS system files and VSAM and Sequential application data sets

•Work closely with others in a team environment

•Able to work independently, self-motivated

•Excellent communication skills – verbal and written; fluent in English
