RESPONSIBILITIES:
ANALYZE, DOCUMENT AND IF TIME ALLOWS IMPLEMENT DAILY TAPE BACKUPS OF DB2 DATABASES FOR DISASTER RECOVERY IN AN IBM Z/OS DB2 V9 RUNNING V8 COMPATIBILITY MODE.
REQUIRED:
•6+ years experience as DBA for IBM z/OS DB2 v9 running v8 in compatibility mode
•Experience with designing a implementing backup strategy for IBM z/OS DB2 databases
•Work closely with others in a team environment
•Able to work independently, self-motivated
•Excellent communication skills – verbal and written; fluent in English
