Java Programmer with .Net Framework, JBuilder, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Plus, Oracle Enterprise Manager, ASP (classic) and Automated Routing and Permitting application (from Bentley) experience Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 12 months (20 hours/week with some offsite work)
Positions: 1Specific Duties and Responsibilities:. SCDOT needs a system software programmer to maintain the Automated Routing and Permitting application which the agency assumed from Bentley. The client module is written in Visual C++ and the extranet module is written in Java. It interfaces with an Oracle database with reports generating in Crystal. Prior knowledge of the application is required.
. The candidate must be knowledgeable of Java 1.4, JBuilder, C#, Visual Studio 2005, .NET framework, SQL Reporting Services, SQL Plus, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and "Classic" ASP.
. We anticipate no more than 20 hours of work per week. While the initial work may be completed off-site, the consultant may be needed to come onsite at the DOT headquarters in Columbia, SC to mentor a DOT system programmer.
