This position will be responsible for management and coordination of State of Michigan building Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) tasks. This individual will attend Design Services solution meetings and gather project task data from the engineers for all aspects of Telecommunications deliverables to include wiring, voice, data, network, facility, and security needs. Human resource data, and deliverable timeline data will also be captured in order to launch a detailed BMC Remedy change request and track said request thru its lifecycle. The ability to manage multiple, similar projects, organize work schedules, and clear written and verbal communication skills are also a required.
Contractor will perform as Telecommunications Design Services Team member and be responsible for the timely delivery of all required documentation and reports.
1.Creation of building IMAC change requests from standard templates
2.Attend Design meetings and gather required information to schedule and organize project deliverables
3.Creation of change notification to project timelines or deliverables
4.Attend staff meetings as required
5.Production of weekly status reports to team leads and management
Project Coordinator capabilities with 5-10 years of experience.
•Five to seven years experience in Project Coordination preferably in an IT or Telecom capacity
•Three to five years exp with meeting facilitation in a technical environment
•Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credit hours in an information technology related major
•Expierience with BMC Remedy, SMMS, MS Project and MS Access database
