Description:
The State Ethics Commission is seeking a short term (approximately 12 months) contractor. The selected candidate will work with the Ethics Commission and will take direction from the Statement of Economic Interest and Education staff.
Responsibilities & Duties:
•Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of technical solutions to support existing web-based applications.
•New application development in a Windows environment.
•Troubleshooting
•Meeting delivery deadlines
•Communicating with customers
•Adhering to standard processes and procedures in performing primary duties.
Required Skills:
•Minimum of 4 (four) years experience in ASP.net, ADO.Net, Ling, MS SQL Server, llS 6.x, Windows 2003 and 2007, Security, AJAX, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSL
•Minimum of 4 (four) years experience in server administration and server virtualization
•Proficient with web service development & utilization, service-oriented application architecture, and relational data modeling
•Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to take direction and to work independently on assigned tasks as well as the ability to shift focus and effort based upon changing priorities
•Proven troubleshooting skills and customer service
