.Net Developer with MS SQL server, Java, Javascript, VBA, VB.NET, C#, Visual Studio, ASP/VBScript, ASP.NET and government experience

Description:
DHHS/DIRM is seeking a (12) twelve month contract Computer Programming Services position to provide system analyst services to assist the Division of Public Health with assessing the business needs and requirements for automating death records. 

The contract resource will be responsible for providing senior level technical leadership by conducting in-depth evaluations of existing automated death system software and by applying project management skills in leading work efforts including the identification of costs for installation and customization. 

The role of this person will be to:
1.Perform senior level functional and technical assessments of sample applications 
2.Provide senior level application design and systems architecture analysis expertise
3.Provide senior level analysis of database design and structures in MS SQL server 
4.Analyze sample systems for functional compatibility and configuration requirements
5.Analyze business customization requirements for function and cost
6.Document and communicate technical analysis results to the Business Client 
7.Act as IT Management liaison to the Business Client
 
Required Skills:
1.Five (5) or more years of experience in Applications Development and Database design
2.Two (2) or more years of experience in n-tier client/server systems 
3.Five (5) years or more of experience in design and support of Database structures in MS SQL server 
4.In-depth knowledge of structured programming techniques and languages (Java, Javascript, VBA, VB.NET, C#)
5.Knowledge and experience in the following packages: Visual Studio, Active Server Pages (ASP), VBScript, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET.
6.Experience with third party components 
7.Thorough knowledge of the principles of application systems development and its associated lifecycle
8.Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet tight deadlines
