COBOL Programmer with JCL, CICS, VSAM, MQ, Endevor, Systemware, batch FTP, and Unemployment Insurance experience

Requirements:
- The individual must have knowledge of, and have a minimum of three years experience in business application development including extensive hands-on experience with, COBOL, JCL, CICS and VSAM.
- Experience related to the development of complex applications is required.
- The individual must know how to create JCL and write COBOL Batch and CICS programs that access VSAM files.
- The individual will need to conduct analysis for new application development and on existing systems that may require significant changes.
- The individual should have experience working with large datasets across multiple platforms and be able to demonstrate the capability to determine the best implementation for enhancements to legacy systems.
- In additional, the individual must possess proven communications skills, both written and verbal, the ability to take direction as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team on assigned tasks.
Preferences:
- Preference will be given to candidates that have demonstrated experience in IBM MQ Series Middleware (CICS and batch application use of), Endevor Source Management Application, Systemware print/output application, and Mainframe batch FTP processes. Experience with a Guide Unemployment Insurance Benefit Payment System will be a plus. Good mathematical skills will be a plus.
