NCDPI is seeking a short term (approx. 12 mnth) contractor to provide Project Management Services.Responsibilities include:
• Identifying , managing , documenting and tracking all issues
• Reviewing all materials regarding system functionality for assigned program
• Preparing written comments & changes regarding functionality for assigned program
• Ensuring proper stakeholder involvement
• Developing project reports
• Maintain testing app & hardware records
• Forecasting and planning for future project rollout numbers and impacts
• Development of policies and procedures
• Invoice review validation
• Monitor progress of projects
• Ensuring sufficient resources are available for data storage and processing, including future capacity projections Developing, Executing, and Assisting with:
• Project plans, sub-project plans, and schedules
• Issue & risk management plans
• Change management, Communications & Quality plans
• Documentation required for federal and state approvals (ei.PPM reports)
• RFIs and RFPsCommunication:
• Collect related subject materials from various IT, customer groups & personnel
• Logistical scheduling for training & meetings
• Interacting with Executive staffing and vendors
• Prepare agendas, materials, and minutes relevant to meetings
• Prepare presentations and internal/external communications
• Maintain communication with Project Team(s) regarding requirements, detail design, & other deliverables
• Clarify policy and procedural issuesProviding:
• Exploratory analysis & fact finding of projects
• Ongoing capacity analysis
• Technical expertise
• Technical oversight: Architecture, SLAs development, testing & acceptance issues Planning, Coordinating & Participating:
• Project, staff, budgeting and facilities planning.
• Quality Assurance and Security reviews
• Meetings with DPI mgmt and or clients
• Guiding direction of project, (stakeholders & technical groups liaison)
• Planning and implementation oversight of environments
• Reviewing all documents & deliverables, requirement chgs & other material
• Validation and certification of projects
• Identification and analysis to resolve issues and risk
• Research & analysis resulting in recommendations for integration, data conversion, & implementation Training
• Assisting users with questions/issues
• Prepare technical documentation and instructions for hardware/software
• Testing efforts & Installation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: • PMP CertificationMinimum requirements include (One or all of the following):
1. Graduate with (4) year degree from accredited college/university (with 9 semester Hrs in DataProcessing) and Min. of (10) years of Project Mgmnt Experience. 2. Graduate with (4) year degree from accredited college/university (in computer science,Information Syst.Mgmt or related curriculum) and Min. (5) years of Project Mgmnt Experience.3. Equivalent combination of education and experience, of items 1 and 2 above.
