| IN001619 Help Desk Technician with JIRA, IDEA Act and speciall education experience Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6 months Positions: 1 1. Define functional requirements for the CECAS software application based on state and federal policies, regulations, and laws pertaining to Exceptional Children. 2. Test each enhancement release. 3. Report defects in new release and in production using JIRA. 4. Retest and verify bug fixes and document results in JIRA. 5. Review and approve training materials for CECAS. 6. Support end users with issues and questions related to Exceptional Children Policies. 7. Maintain lookup codes in the CECAS Production, Training and QA environments. 8. Plan collaboratively with the DPI team and the team for the vendor of CECAS to schedule releases at the optimum time for end users. 9. Develop presentations on behalf of the DPI Exceptional Services Delivery Team. 10. Make presentations and compose written communications on behalf of the EC Delivery Team. 11. Provide status reports to the Exceptional Children Director’s Advisory Committee. 12. Maintain a current knowledge base of issues related to Exceptional Children and general education in North Carolina and transfer relevant knowledge to the EC Delivery Team and vendors. 13. Attend weekly Team Meetings to provide status of assigned projects. 14. Attend monthly Division Meetings to make sure the EC Delivery Team is in alignment with the EC Division. | ||||
