WebSphere Administrator with Linux/AIX/CentOS/Windows, reverse proxy, clustering, load-balancing, tuning, tracing, JDBC, JMS, Tomcat, JBoss, Ant/Maven/Ivy, scripting (shell/perl/jython), subversion, sharepoint, curam, oracle, PL/SQL, SSL/TLS, LDAP, TeamForge, TeamCity, VMWare and government experienceLocation: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12months
Extensive knowledge and experience, and a high degree of business & technical oriented knowledge with significant practical experience in information systems activities including:
• Administering including deploying J2EE applications IBM WebSphere Application Server 7/8
• Operating systems: AIX, Linux, RedHat/CentOS, and Windows Server 2008
• Contemporary application hosting paradigms including, but not limited to, n-tier design, reverse proxies, name and ip-based virtual hosts, and clustering/load-balancing technologies
• J2EE-specific application hosting - including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, application deployment, container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS, et al), and security configuration
• Various J2EE application containers including, but not limited to, Tomcat, WebSphere, Sun Java System Web Server, and JBoss
• J2EE application building/deployment techniques & tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc
• Exp with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as UNIX shell script, Perl, Jython, etc Proficient in AIX, Redhat Linux and Windows operating systems, the IBM Websphere application & components, Subversion, and SharePoint Training Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 9 credit hrs in programming
• Three (3) years of experience in business applications consulting of development, or an equivalent combination of training & experience Preferred Skills:
• Curam software including recent exp with Version 6
• Oracle 11g database, Oracle SQL, PLSQL
• Network application /web application security concepts including authentication/authorization protocols, transport encryption concepts (SSL/TLS), LDAP and related services, and others
• Hardware specification evaluation, platform sizing, and capacity planning in support of an enterprise application hosting environment
