Description:
The NC Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking a short term (approx.
12 month) contractor to provide assistance to microcomputer users in the planning, procurement, installation and maintenance of microcomputer hardware and software. The selected candidate will provide hardware and software support to PC users within an assigned territory and will be responsible for installing COTS products, In-House applications, product optimizing, ghosting, installation of PCs, printers, scanners and other PC peripherals.
Required:
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7 Knowledge of Mac OS X Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and Office 2010 Knowledgeable of in hard drive imaging processes Experience with Exchange Email and Calendar with Outlook client Experience with imaging COTS applications Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules Must have good organizational and communications skills, written and oral Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills
