Windows Administrator with Active Directory (MSAD)/Identity & Access Management, disaster recovery, SharePoint and PowerShell scripting experience

Duration: 12 months
The NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking to fill a short term ( approx. 12 month) contractor assignment. This position is responsible for engineering the Active Directory environment used to underpin the Identity & Access Management needs of NCDOT. This position will be responsible for building complex computing systems to include research, requirements gathering, design, documenting, configuration, and maintenance of all respective computing systems. Must take into account all the features of a given technology; backup/disaster recovery aspects, design, configuration, operational, and support documentation, operational and support staff training on use & maintenance of any new services. Position is responsible for third level support of the service, manage time lines and resources for projects, identify trends and develop appropriate technical solutions to mitigate problems.
Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Active Directory architecture experience, as well as Power Shell scripting knowledge are all musts!
Required:
• EXTENSIVE experience in Active Directory design, implementation, & management in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience in Windows PowerShell
• Must possess strong Computer Systems Integration skills
• Disaster recovery experience with the above technologies
• Skills to produce design and operational documentation
