.Net Developer with SOA, web services, QA Testing, SQL Server, Report Builder, Windows Administration, mainframe integration and billing/card payment/POS solution experience

Duration: 12 months
Responsibilites/Expectations Include:
• Provide monitoring in production environments to ensure applications are operational during business hours
• Receive, log and fully document requests for support from help desk, other service delivery staff and/or users; investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions to take
• Monitor progress of requests for support through resolution and ensure users and other interested parties are kept informed
• Escalate defects, systems and network issues to appropriate resources
• Escalate 3rd party software and hardware issues to vendors, insuring proper attention is given to the issue depending on severity
• Develop and maintain production support process, tracking and documentation
• Monitor application systems by regular review of reports from the application software. Note problems and identify performance trends. Where approved, take correction action to improve performances and to avoid problems arising
• Provide application configuration and maintenance on the card payment application and become an expert on the use of all aspects of the system
• Develop custom reports using Report Builder
• Provide updates and communication to users, the management team, and development teams on issues
• Communicate technical information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing
• Coordinate product upgrades between various IT units
• Lead in the QA process of new releases of the software
• Perform regression testing for all new releases
• Prepare test and production environments for all new releases
• Assist with quality assurance test efforts where appropriate and applicable
• Coordinate production emergencies with internal experts and key stakeholders
• Establish strong relationships and collaborate with the development teams, system administrators, network administrators, users and vendors
• Participant in and provide input to annual PCI Audits
• Monitor application contract transaction compliance
• Work with the IT Manager to ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal application and hardware support and maintenance contracts
• Maintain application architecture and system design documents
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
• BS/BA or equivalent work background plus 5 - 7 years of experience in a distributed web services and enterprise software environment or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years experience providing production support or similar role
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in card payment solutions and retail POS solutions
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in Billing and Payment solutions
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in working with Windows Server environment
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in Systems Integration, SOA & Web Services
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in integrating .NET application with mainframe applications
• Hands-on experience with XML
• Hands-on experience with Report Builder
• Good understanding of capabilities of the .NET web apps and thick client applications
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Reverse Proxy, Load balancing, URL rewrite etc.
• Work with other IT Teams: Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Integrations, Client Services, Database
• Strong working knowledge of office applications (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)
• Written and verbal communications are clear, concise and achieve intended objectives
• Problem Diagnosis skills [i.e., discovery, replication, troubleshooting, resolution, verification, communication and/or escalation as required]
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and tasks
• Able to problem solve independently as well as part of a team
