SQL Server Developer with .Net, ASP.Net, C#, Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS)
Location: Olympia, WA
Duration: 8 months
a. Mandatory Experience and Qualifications
Must have 2+ years’ experience building energy assistance database systems providing end-user online capabilities, using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2005, including Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Integration services.
b. Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications
1. Possess 3+ years’ experience building web based, N-Tier Applications using .NET 2.0, ASP.NET, and C#.
2. Possess 2+ years’ experience building database systems operating in the Washington State IT computing environment, complying with security standards such as Secure Access Washington (SAW).
3. Possess 2+ years’ experience building energy assistance database systems for assisting energy utilities, such as Puget Sound Energy and Avista, in providing low income energy assistance to citizens
Project Background: The purpose of this engagement is to address the ongoing maintenance and remaining system enhancements needed to provide ongoing support for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance/Puget Sound Energy Home Energy Lifeline Program (LIHEAP/PSE HELP) Database Application(s). Each year, Commerce updates the online application(s) and associated database tables to reflect new poverty guidelines, benefit calculation parameters, reporting changes, and any program modifications or website enhancements as determined by Commerce, PSE or requested by system users. Consultant will provide technical support to assist Commerce staff in identifying, developing, testing, and completing project enhancements and maintenance as requested by LIHEAP and PSE/HELP program management. Consultant will provide necessary knowledge transfer and training of Commerce IS staff.
c. Deliverables
1. ADD HOUSEHOLD (HH) MEMBER information to LIHEAP input HIF form and LIHEAP system database.
2. Modify the LIHEAP UPLOAD feature
3. Create HH MEMBER REPORT(S)
4. Make required PROGRAM YEAR 2014 Maintenance and Enhancement updates
5. TECHNICAL UPGRADES to system program code and data base for replacing hard coded parameters to database and replacing javascript code with Csharp
6. KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER to Commerce IS staff on all work done
