.Net Developer with Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, TFS, WCF, TIDAL and Web Services
Location: Olympia, WA
Duration: 6 months
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: This resource must have the following experience:
• Proficiency in Visual Studio software development platform
• Extensive professional software development experience with C# and ASP.NET (framework 3.5/4.0 preferred) for web applications
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Design and Architecture
• Professional experience with MS SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 is a plus) and building SSIS packages
• Proficient in use of TFS for source control
• Professional experience building WCF and Web Services
Desirable Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Professional experience in Microsoft Reporting Services
• Experience with console application development and execution utilizing job scheduling products such as TIDAL
• Using TFS for incident management
PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK
ESD/Information Technology and Business Integration Division is currently working to implement the SIDES interface. SIDES is an internet based automated file transfer system that helps states, employers, and third party administrators (TPA’s) transmit and receive unemployment information with each other. These transmissions may come from one or more applications, but the formats adhere to nationally established standards. The system allows electronic transmission of Unemployment Insurance information requests from state workforce agencies to multi-state employers and/or TPA’s, as well as transmission of replies containing the requested information back to the requesting agency. The resource will assist on site on a full time basis for the Contract period. An office space and the necessary equipment and access will be provided to assist the resource in accomplishing the tasks set forth in this Work Request.
Responsibilities
• Participate in regular project team meetings and follow the established methodology standards
• Follow ESD standards in implementing all work
• Develop application functionality using C#, ASP.Net for web applications
• Document work as per project standards
• Actively participate in stand up meetings, functional code reviews, and demos
• Utilize TFS for source control and incident management
• Adhere to all process and development standards of the ITBI Division and UI Benefit Systems
• Provide status as requested
• Demonstrate respectful communications and behavior
