ETL Developer/BIOSTATISTICIAN with SQL Loader, Oracle and healthcare/medical university experience

Work Location: CHARLESTON, SC

Duration: 12 Months  

EVALUATE EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN AND ESTIMATE REQUIRED NUMBER OF SUBJECTS. DEVELOP ANALYTICAL MODELS FOR THE DESIGN AND EXECUTE THEM. ASSIST IN AUTHORING PUBLICATION OF RESULTS.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Evaluate experimental design

2. Develop analytics for evaluating data

3. Specifying data required to IT team and organizing the data

4. Analyzing data under direction of Lab Director

5. Authoring text and diagrams of results under direction of the Lab Director

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): ETL TOOLS INCLUDING SQL LOADER; ORACLE RDBMS V 11

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

1. Ability to communicate with IT staff and clinical personnel from various organizations.

2. Knowledge of clinical data organization, collection and evaluation.

3. Knowledge of how a primary care practice network functions.

4. Knowledge of basic healthcare concepts, tests, diseases and interventions.
