Project Manager with IT projects/construction management and sharepoint experience
Location: Miami FL
Duration: 6 months

Project Manager with excellent organizational skills capable of requirements gathering, project planning, documenting and the ability to communicate with technical staff, developers and end-users. Experience in software purchasing, data warehouse and system development required. Project will involve requirements gathering leading to the purchase of a Construction Program Management application.
Responsibilities
Work with user community, Chief Facilities Officer, various District Directors, Construction Project Managers, software analysts and developers in gathering and documenting requirements from end-users.
Manage development staff and/or deliverables.
Develop necessary documentation such as scope documents, requirement documents and project plans.
Create criteria that results in the purchase of a Construction Project Management application the best suits the district’s needs.
Provide Pros and Cons on the various application options.
Work directly with software implementer/vendor to insure application works as expected.
Provide oversight and milestone reporting and ensure timelines are met.
Provide recommendations on problem resolution.
Ensure design to build meets user requirements.
Develop quality control and test plan scenarios, as needed.
Oversee project implementation and address any issues that could put project at risk.
Be able to discuss technical requirements and specifications with developers and vendors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience managing major IT projects.
SharePoint experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An understanding of Construction Management is a plus
A minimum of 5 years of Organizational Change Management experience.
