Network Engineer with LAN/WAN, Active Directory (MSAD), Exchange, NCID, VPN, Windows and MS Office experience

Duration: 6 months

This short term (aprox 6 months) Networking Analyst position will provide:
* LAN/WAN administration
* Plan, install, use software utilities to maintain, troubleshoot and configure network devices (e.g. servers, cabling, printers, workstations, laptops, BlackBerrys, videoconferencing, etc.)
* Support and troubleshoot networking infrastructure (e.g. routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, tape library, backup and disaster recovery and VLANs)
* Ensure network security and data integrity
* Manage multiple IT projects
* User support, maintenance and administration for Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange mailbox administration, NCID, IP addressing, imaging architecture, mobile devices, VPN, 3270/5250 emulations, Internet/Intranet
* Intel based hardware, software (e.g. MS Office 2010, etc.) and operating systems (Server 2008 and WIN 7 for desktops)
Required Skills:
Applicants must have:
• Technical and analytical knowledge and experience in LAN/WAN systems planning, administration, installation, maintenance and security
• Extensive knowledge of information technology standards
• Ability to perform high-level troubleshooting of hardware, software and operating systems
• Support data, voice, video, cabling and other technologies
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing
• Ability to establish & maintain successful working relationships with others
• A working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, Windows Server 2008 & WIN 7
