Oracle DBA with solaris, DML/DDL, PL/SQL, Toad Team Coding, OEM Grid Control, SQL Developer, RMAN, ASM, Data Guard, RAC, shell scripting, CA ERwin, Advanced Queuing/Message Gateway and SAN experiene

Location:  Raleigh, NC 
Duration: 6 months

Required Skills: 
•Minimum of (7) years of recent experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a 24x7 Solaris environment; skills with Oracle Enterprise Edition RDBMS 10g and 11g.
•Expert with installation, configuration, and patch management of Oracle 10g and 11g; SQL (DML and DDL) and PL/SQL; assist development staff with writing PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, and Packages; Ability to create/replace insert/update/delete triggers.
•managing and implementing database/schema changes, including creating/altering tables, constraints, indexes, grants, and sequences; able to write DDL and DML via command line tools (SQL*Plus, Toad, etc.) as well as GUI tools (OEM, Oracle SQL Developer, etc).
•Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) via both the command-line and OEM;Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM)(10g and 11g); Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control (10g and 11g); Oracle Data Guard.
•Quest Software TOAD for Oracle (including DBA module).(TOAD Team Coding is a plus).
•Database change control; coordinate and implement database/schema changes to various environments (Development, Test, Training, QA, and Production).
•Coordinate and implement schema changes to various environments (Development, Test, Training, QA, and Production).
•Assist various projects with performance tuning PL/SQL Stored Procedures and SQL statements. Experience using Explain Plan •Ability to assist other teams in stress-testing applications, locating bottlenecks, and recommending solutions.
•Willing to provide after-hours support.
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Desired Skills: 
•Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters; UNIX commands and shell scripting and Solaris 10; database/schema design and data modeling tools; CA ERwin (7.x or higher); scheduling and propagating messages to/from legacy systems via Oracle Advanced Queuing and Oracle Message Gateway;and SAN environments.
