.Net Developer with C#, SQL Server, visual studio, VB.Net/VBA, Ajax, JAWS, source safe/TFS, InterDev, ASP and ADP experience

The NC Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a short term (approx. 6 month) Web Developer. The selected contractor’s role will be to:
1. Provide senior level application design and systems analysis expertise
2. Write detail program specifications
3 .Write, test and debug complex computer programs
4. Write HTML interfaces using CSS and Javascript
5. Compile C# dynamic link libraries (DLLs)
6. Design and support Database structures in MS SQL server 2005
7. Write SQL scripts for database queries and stored procedures
8. Provide performance tuning on web servers
9. Analyze and implement additional Open Window functionality
10.Create reports using SQL Reports
11.Analyze and implement additional Open Window interfaces (i.e. NCAS)
12.Migrate Open Window application to ITS hosting location
13.Perform Disaster Recovery procedures
14.Provide technical user training
Required:
• Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in Applications Development and Database design with Visual Studio 2005 and above
• Minimum of (2) Two years of experience in n-tier client/server systems
• Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in design and support of Database structures in MS SQL server 7, MS SQL 2000, MS SQL server 2005
• In-depth knowledge of structured programming techniques and languages (.NET Framework 2.0 and above, Java, Javascript, VBA, VB.NET, C#)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with AJAX
• Experience with third party components including controls from DevExpress
• Knowledge and understanding of web standards to meet disability requirements and web design for use with screen readers (i.e. JAWS)
• Thorough knowledge of the principles of application systems development and its associated lifecycle
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet tight deadlines
Preferred:
Knowledge and experience in the following packages: Source Safe, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio v 6.0, Visual Interdev, Active Server Pages (ASP), VBScript, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, and ADP
