Duration: 12+ Months
Positions: 1

If a candidate has numerous positions of 18 months or less, the candidate’s resume should be clear as to why this has occurred. Having had multiple short engagements is not inherently bad; however, given the high demand for healthcare experts at this time, the Department will be concerned about any candidate who has had problems remaining employed/engaged for extended periods (poor work habits, poor interpersonal skills, very narrow expertise, etc.).

The Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V)  project performs verification and validation activities for the Replacement MMIS and Member Management projects for the Department. The PM will manage a team of 3-5 individuals charged with providing crucial project evaluation information to decision makers. The Replacement MMIS project is among the most complex IT projects taken on by the State’s Department. This project is a multi-year effort to replace many of the State’s aging Medicaid systems with modern technologies and supporting business operations. The Member Management project will replace the State’s Medicaid Eligibility Determination System (MEDS) as well as expand system capabilities to manage other aspects of Medicaid members’ support needs. This system will interface with the Federally-facilitate health insurance exchange.
