SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
CREATE AND DOCUMENT A PROCESS TO SECURELY DEPLOY AND MAINTAIN
SMARTSYNC IN A NON-WINDOWS NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

Create and document a configuration for SMART Technologies SMARTSync
software. The software configuration must meet the qualifications for
distribution and maintenance using ZENWorks as well as securely allow
lab instructors to manage student computers.

Configures and installs SMART Sync software for IT users' desktops and
laptops. Involved in the installation and rollout of SMART Sync
software packages. Documents problems and resolutions. Performs
end-user training. Strong customer service skills are important in
this position. Participates in the testing and evaluation of SMART
Sync software package and implements prototype.

Extensive batch file create and scripting will be required to
successfully complete this work.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORK WITH INTERNAL NETWORK EXPERTS TO DEVELOP AND DOCUMENT A PROCESS
TO SETUP, REMOTELY DEPLOY AND MAINTAIN THE SMART SYNC SOFTWARE
ALLOWING LAB INSTRUCTORS TO MANAGE STUDENT COMPUTERS WITH THE LAB.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
FAMILIARITY WITH ZENWORKS, SMARTBOARD SOFTWARE, DESKTOP TECHNOLOGY,
AND NETWORK SECURITY BEST PRACTICES.
