Description:
The resource selected for this contract assists MDOT’s IT Program Management Office with reporting and technical support for the reporting tools (Clarity, Business Objects, Oracle, and Crystal Reports). This role also develops project documentation, including requirements, use cases, and functional design packages.
Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Required Criteria
Fifteen (15) years’ experience using structured system development life cycle (SDLC) and/or CMMI methodologies.
Ten (10) years’ experience preparing use and test cases.
Six (6) years’ experience creating and updating reports using tools such as CA Clarity, Business Objects, Oracle, Crystal Reports, and/or SQL.
Five (5) years’ experience providing technical support for reporting tools such as CA Clarity, Business Objects, Oracle, and Crystal Reports
Five (5) years’ experience developing IT project documentation including use cases, application requirements, functional designs, and system designs.
Five (5) years’ experience using industry standard methodologies such as:
•SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)
•PMM (Project Management Methodology)
•SEM (Systems Engineering Methodology)
Five (5) years’ experience creating and documenting workflows.
Five (5) years’ experience contributing to use case estimates
Five (5) years’ experience as a technical team leader in application development
Preferred Criteria
Demonstrated experience working with highway transportation related IT systems
Demonstrated experience working with IT projects or in a project management office
Demonstrated experience working in state government (ideally Michigan)
Knowledge and familiarity of highway transportation related business operations
Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
