Description:
The DTMB team at MDOT needs a senior-level resource with application architect experience to assist with the agency’s Legacy Application Modernization Program 
(LAMP).  The DTMB team at MDOT does not have a state resource who can serve in this role, facilitating the implementation of transportation grant management 
software at MDOT.  The resource selected for this contract serves as the application architect for MDOT grant management, working extensively on the Legacy 
Application Modernization Program (LAMP).  

Candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria: 
Note: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and requires 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Required Criteria
Ten (10) years’ experience in government-related IT systems
Ten (10) years’ experience in J2EE design and development
Ten (10) years’ experience using structured systems engineering methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in computer science
Preferred Criteria
Documented experience working with highway transportation related IT systems preferred. 
At least five years’ experience working in state government preferred.
