Description:
The NC DHHS DPH- Nutrition Services Branch is seeking a short term (aprox 12 months) contractor to serve as an Assistant Project Manager overseeing the training components for the WIC Crossroad Project. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the lead for monitoring, reviewing, coordianting and gathering input from four Crossraods states on training materials and activities and general project management activities throughtout the project.

This position serves as the Training Director for the four state WIC Crossroads Consortium Project. It provides direction, leadership and day–to–day management of some aspects of the project with an emphasis on training activities for the Crossroads WIC System. The position will work with training coordinators in each of the Crossroads States. They will be responsible for the oversight and development of training materials, curriculums, training events and evaluation. The position will work with the design and development vendor and the four states for organizational input on training needs.
 
REQUIRED  Skills:
1.Must be highly organized and have the ability to work with subject matter experts to lead, participate in and manage the training activities acrss four states and with the development and implementation vendor of the Crossroads application.
2.Experience with implementation training for a complex information technology web applciation 
3.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
4.Ability to navigateacross tasks with ease and work with changing priorities
5.Experience in using Internet application in large integrated technology environments.
6.Ability to effectively plan assignments and projects, adjust priorities as needed and work on multiple deliverables at the same time.
7.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to a range of audiences,both technical and non technical..
8.Promotes positive customer service attitude among peers; develops and maintains professional relationships with peers, management and customers by listening, understanding, and responding to the needs.
9.Ability to communicate with subject matter experts from a wide range of backgrounds.
10.Understand the dynamics of teams including the ability to capitalize on the different abilities.
