SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION, PLANS, DESIGNS, IMPLEMENTS AND MODIFIES COMPLEX COMPUTER SYSTEMS TO MEET THE INFORMATION SYSTEMS REQUIREMENTS OF THE VARIOUS PROGRAM AREAS. MAY SERVE AS LEAD ANALYST AND USER CONTACT FOR DESIGN OF SPECIAL SYSTEM PROJECTS. PROVIDES TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO USERS AND CO-WORKERS TO DEVELOP EFFECTIVE SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR ANY CHANGES OR NEW REQUIREMENTS. PROVIDES PROGRESS REPORTS TO KEEP SUPERVISOR INFORME

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

1.Code development, unit testing, source code management, build management, integration testing, and deployment using VB.NET/ASP.Net and SQL Server 2008 for the Child  and Adult Protective Services System (CAPSS) Application.

2.Interact with the applications user community to develop new functionality for the Child and Adult Protective Services System (CAPSS) application. This includes    participating in workshops,  general meetings, and responding to oral and written requests.

3.Research problems to determine source and resolution with follow up proper documentation.

4.Investigate/Analyze requests for system enhancements to determine resources needed.

5.Write progress reports and keeps management and users informed of development status and obstacles encountered.
