RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
•THIS IS A DUEL ROLE IN WHICH THE CONTRACTOR IS EXPECTED TO WORK AS AN INFORMATION ARCHITECT AND A USER INTERFACE (UI) DESIGNER.  
•In the Information Architect role, the candidate is responsible for defining website architecture, navigation, functionality, interaction and data flow. The candidate will rely on knowledge of UI design, web development, usability in addition to solid IA skills to define, document and communicate the structural and user experience aspects of a large, complex ecosystem of websites. 
•This person in this position will distill goals, constraints and risks into well thought-out plans. The candidate will also prioritize tasks, manage expectations, mitigate risks and offer creative approaches to achieving design solutions even in the context of challenging constraints.
•The wireframes, prototypes, site maps, use cases, taxonomies process flows and functional requirements documented by the candidate must ensure a consistent, scalable and strategic web architecture. This candidate is responsible for the ensuring that the front-end of the site interacts efficiently with the underlying system architecture.
•This position is responsible for defining user requirements, planning and participating in user research and usability testing, and creating organizational schemes for asset management, quality assurance and change management. The candidate will create and maintain standards for web design and development in addition to web architectural documents. The position will establish a web framework and evaluate potential deviations from that framework.
•The candidate will use web analytics to measure success against pre-defined metrics and identify areas of improvement. The candidate must be a highly collaborative team member able to appropriately handle confidential matters and to work well with diverse audiences. 
•In the User Interface Designer role, the candidate is responsible for leading and executing the user-centered design process for a large, complex ecosystem of websites. This position requires a brand steward and user advocate with advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and the Adobe Creative Suite, a solid understanding of HTML and CSS with experience optimizing design around these languages.
•This position is responsible for conceptualizing, proposing, exploring and executing new designs and enhancements for current designs, including the development of interactive prototypes for user research. Will create interaction requirements and standards. Will also work closely with Web Front-End Developer to create engaging user experiences.
•Creates and maintains style guides and content templates within the parameters of brand guidelines. Works with other designers to develop, maintain and interpret a brand visual system that can be applied to all media. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:-
•Eight (8) plus years of combined user-interface design and information architecture, interaction design and/or usability experience.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design and a clean design aesthetic.
•Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, languages and best practices.
•Familiarity with content management systems and best practices for deploying and managing content
•Experience working independently and collaboratively with information architects, copywriters, front-end developers and broad cross-functional teams.
•Strong problem solving skills and a passion for creating great user experiences
