Network Engineer with telecommunications, Avaya PBX, Octel, BMC Remedy,  MS office and goverment experience

REQUIRED skills:

Contractor will perform as Telecommunications Delivery services team member and be responsible for the timely delivery of all telephony services. Deliverables for this project include:

1.Completion of software work orders on the Avaya platform the day they are received unless otherwise directed by the lead worker

2.Completion of problem cases on the Avaya platform within established SLA – 4 hours for severe and next business day for routine

3.Completion of voicemail work orders on the Octel platform the day they are received unless otherwise directed by the lead worker

4.Completion of problem cases on the Octel voicemail platform within established SLA – 4 hours for severe and next business day for routine

5.Assist with network design and routing orders and issues

6.Work with project managers to produce reports and other deliverables associated with Telecom voice projects.

7.Other deliverables as assigned by the voice lead worker

Deliverables will not be considered complete until the Voice lead worker has formally accepted them.

No specific regulations apply, requirements or expertise include the knowledge and ability required to 

•Provision, install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot Avaya PBX, Octel Voice mail systems.

•Use BMC Remedy,  MS office, MS Outlook, and SMMS (a DIT web based change request system)
