Java OR .Net Developer with web services, Oracle, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and related technologies (Java OR .Net) Location: Albany NY
Duration: 18 months
Positions: 2 Mandatory Requirements
Must have a minimum of two years application development experience using one or more of the following concepts & technologies:
Object Oriented Analysis & Development
UML
XML
Web Services
N-tiered client/server development
Java based tools such as:
Websphere
Enterprise Java Beans
IBM HTTP Server
ANT – Java build tool Must have a minimum of two years experience performing development work in one or more of the following specialty areas:
Visual Studio .Net (or latest version)
Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g or higher
IIS
GUI
Windows NT/2000/XP (or latest version of Microsoft Operating System)
C++
Visual Basic 6.0
COM+
Unisys Cobol

Telecommunications Desirable Experience Preferred for These Positions
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Superior knowledge of the English language and elevated ability to understand and be understood. (20 Points)
2. Eight (8) or more years of demonstrated experience in client, business tier and data tier application development utilizing XML technologies. (20 Points)
3. Five (5) or more years experience in:
Architecting, designing, developing and implementing the technical design for applications
Interfacing with other data systems
Utilizing Web Services. (20 Points)
4. At least 3 years experience using:
SQL, PL/SQL
Writing stored procedures, functions, packages
Preferable in Oracle 10g or higher. (20 Points)
5. At least 2 years experience:
Programming secure web services
Conforming to the security concepts (as the Federal Information Processing Standard - FIPS Publication 140-2)
For both the internet & intranet. (20 Points)
