Required minimum qualifications: 

a) Master Contract resource category: Web Applications Specialist - Java/JSP/Servlets;

b) 5+ years of  J2EE development experience;

c) Demonstrated experience with MnSCU’s open-source platform (JBoss, Spring, Hibernate) and large 

relational database systems (such as Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL).

Desired Skills

a) Experience working in higher education IT;

b) Experience converting existing web or client/server systems to J2EE.

Responsibilities Expected:

• Provide J2EE Object Oriented Developers at the location of the development team or agreed upon 

MnSCU Office location.

• Meet MnSCU’s testing and acceptance criteria.

• Providing training/ knowledge transfer.
