Description:
NC DHHS Office of MMIS Services is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 6 month) assignment requiring a results oriented individual with strong work ethics.The position requires a candiate with problem solving and analytical skills to ensure that system functionality meets State business and technical requirements. The individual will work with business and technical staff and key stakeholders to evaluate the functional solution designed to support recipient services related to claims processing.

In addition to the above the candidate will leverage their experience to ensure a successful solution delivery by participating in the creation and evalution of test case scenarios based on indistry standards. The candiate will be responsible for communicating effectively with other team members and project management in support of project goals. The candiate will review project deliverables in support of other team members to help ensure quality and adherence to standards and guidelines. The individual should have the ability to recognize, interpret, and organize around changing job environment factors.
 
Required Skills:
•Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff, and meeting facilitation skills.
•Ability to translate business requirements into high-level and detailed functional specifications. 
•Demonstrated ability to execute multiple concurrent objectives while partnering with business resources, vendors and third-party consultants to deliver required project results.
•Ability to quickly grasp concepts relating to customizations that have been designed and developed. 
•IT acumen with tactical planning skills and understanding of government organizational policies.
•Objective decision-making ability based on business performance analysis and resource availability.
•Experience with executing and evaluating test scenarios to determine the validity system functionality.
•Full analytical capability based on understanding of technical architecture and functional solutions.
•Experience in software implementations, requirements gathering, systems analysis, and functional design 
•Exposure to various project management methodologies and their application to cross-functional project work.

• Four (4) references will be required prior to final interview.
