IBM Content Manager OnDemand Administrator with z/OS to AIX migration, AFP, ACIF, WEBi, ODWEB, TSM, security experience 

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 3 – 12 months
Positions: 3

Must have;
1. CMOD 8.4 or later version running in z/OS,
2. CMOD 8.5 running in AIX,
3. CMOD AFP Conversion and Indexing Facility (ACIF) user exits,
4. Content Federation Services for Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) coordinating the queries between z/OS and AIX platform,
5. WEBi and ODWEB servers,
6. Tape Storage Manager,
7. End-user authentication and folder Level security for CMOD.

Scope of Work
The client is seeking the services of a contractor capable of guiding and assisting the
client with the setup and configuration of the IBM® CMOD in an AIX platform and migrate a set of sample AFP and PDF Bills to the new AIX platform. The contractor will review the current environment; and recommend the optimum architecture and best practices for migrating the data.

Description of Work
1. Manage project resources and time based on the Statement of Work.
2. Review the current CMOD environment that is running CMOD V8.4.0 in a z/OS platform.
3. Review the AIX platform that will run the new CMOD V8.5 or later
a. Review the files systems created in CMOD V8.5
b. Review and make recommendations for implementing the user requirements
i. Ability to store PDF formatted bills in CMOD 8.5 running under AIX OS
ii. Ability to use CMOD client to view the legacy bills in CMOD V8.4.0 running under z/OS and the new PDF and AFP formatted bills running in CMOD V8.5 under AIX OS
iii. Ability to use IBM® On Demand Application Interface (API) call to view the legacy bills in CMOD V8.4.0 running under z/OS and the new bills running in CMOD V8.5 under AIX OS
iv. Archive PDF objects to other storage Tier
v. Ability to resource grouping of fonts and images in PDF documents
4. Guide and assist client staff to install two systems (test and production) with high availability that includes
i. One (1) Library Server on a Distributed platform
ii. One (1) Object Server on a Distributed platform
iii. One High availability failover server
iv. Create and Configure Hierarchical File System Files
v. Configure System Initialization
vi. Perform Base Functional Testing
5. Guide and assist client staff to install one (1) CMOD Client
6. Guide and assist client staff to install IBM® Web Interface for Content Management (WEBi) and its pre-requisite software such as IBM® WebSphere Application Server (WAS) base and IBM® On Demand Web Enablement Kit (ODWEK) software
7. Guide and assist client staff to setup and verify the WEBi and ODWEK configuration
8. Recommend how to use the CMOD exits in AIX platform.
9. Guide client staff to convert, if recommended, three exits: ARSUUFUL, ARSUUJCL, and ARSUUPDX.
10. Recommend and guide client staff to setup the End-user authentication and folder Level security according to the current IBM® Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) security structure.
11. Make recommendations for the Tape Storage Manager (TSM) Infrastructure
12. Guide and assist client staff to implement and configure TSM
i. Install and configure TSM API
ii. Configure storage & retention
iii. Setup SNODE to maintain retention rules established on CMOD z/OS
iv. Run system testing
13. Guide and assist client to install two (2) TSM systems (Test and Production) with High availability.
i. Define Management classes and Storage groups
ii. Configure and test the storage classes
iii. Setup the media migration logic from disk to tape based on the storage name (such as MC1TE07Y) for keeping the data for 12 months on disk and 7 years on tapes
iv. Ability to failover to the standby servers when primary server fails
v. Provide recommendations on how to migrate storage retention objects from z/OS Object Access Method (OAM) to TSM.
vi. Review migration plan and monitor the test process on the scripts to ensure migration process is sound.

1. A recommendation document showing the best practice to implement user requirements.
2. A recommendation document showing the best practice to migrate the storage retention objects from z/OS OAM to TSM
3. A recommendation document showing the best practice to setup TSM Infrastructure which includes storage and management classes and to migrate the storage retention objects from z/OS OAM to TSM
4. A recommendation document showing the best practice to use CMOD exits in AIX platform.
5. A recommendation document showing the best practice to setup the End-user authentication and folder Level security for CMOD.
