Description:
The Department of the State Treasurer is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month) contractor assignment to provide Desktop Support Services. The selected candidate assist with consultation, support, and/or training to clients of computer based systems.
Responsibilities & Duties :
•Installation
•Configuration
•Troubleshooting desktop system, ( including operating systems, applications, hardware and peripherals)
•Responding to Helpdesk tickets as needed in Tier II support areas.
Required:
•In-depth knowledge and understanding of principles and theories of computer based systems
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and Office Suites
•Strong working knowledge of a wide range in desktop applications, antivirus/malware
•Strong working knowledge and experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting failures. Experience in a variety of hardware and peripherals
