Project Manager (PMP) with Sharepoint, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook and Web site development experience

Description:
The Sharepoint Project involves developing the structure of the Sharepoint repository, implementation of the structure, deployment and training. The Agency has Sharepoint development and implantation resources available for the project, however it seeks a project manager to oversee and plan the rollout. Furthermore, the Agency needs assistance in information architecture and governance planning for the Sharepoint project to facilitate the initial organization and long-term maintenance of the Sharepoint repository.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
•Building a project plan for each project and executing to that plan.
•Facilitating the development of an Agency-wide Sharepoint Information Architecture
•Developing a long-term Information Architecture governance and maintenance policy/process
•Determining and managing project expenses within the allocated budget.
•Managing project risks and issues.
•Ensuring that all deliverables and activities are completed with high quality and in a timely fashion.
•Reporting on project status and strategies orally and in writing to the Project Management Office Director, Chief Information Officer, project partners and other major initiative projects leads.
•Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
•Experience with managing the implementation of medium to major projects.
•Experience participating in the development of Web sites
•Ability to effectively work and communicate, in both oral and written, with all levels of the Department.
•Experience with MS Project and other project management tools.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
•Experience with Sharepoint 2007 and/or 2010
•Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook
•Experience in information architecture
•Web site development experience
•
End-user support and/or training for desktop applications
