Description:

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a short term Java and SAS Programmer (*approx. 4-6 month assignment)
for enhancements to the NC-CATCH data dissemination web site. The selected candidate will make necessary code modifications to existing
application code that provides county level public health data through indicator reports and a query system. This effort is component of the CDC
grant Strengthening Public Health Infrastructure for Improved Health Outcomes.

Required:

• Minimum of three (3) years in complex Java code development in Spring Web MVC framework
• Experience in XML and XSLT
• Experience in Javascript
• Experience with C
• Experience in JBoss environment
• Experience with Subversion
• Experience in development for a clustered application servers environment
• Experience in SQL
• Experience with Base SAS, including macros
• Must have excellent analytical software skills

Preferred:
• Experience with ArcServer
• Experience with SVG
