Location:-Raleigh, NCDuration: 12 monthsPositions: 1Description: The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month) contractor assignment. The selected candidate will work with The FSIS/EBTIS Project Technical Team as a Programmer/Analyst assisting in the maintenance and enhancement of the mainframe Food Stamp Information System & Electronic Benefits Transfer Interface System (FSIS/EBTIS).
Required: • Minimum of (8) years of experience in the programming, and design of large-scale IBM mainframe based systems using DB2, SPUFI, QMF, MVS, JCL, Cobol, CICS, Hourglass, Transcentury, Finalist, Streamweaver, Advance Function Printing, BMSGT, XPEDITER, EASYTRIEVE, FILE-AID, BMC Utilities, Connect Direct, ZEKE, SYSTEMWARE, ENDEVOR, CA Intertest. • Considerable familiarity with structured system development methodologies and programming languages. • Experience in business process analysis, writing detailed program specifications, coding, debugging, Project tracking, implementation planning and Interface testing. • Excellent analytical skills.Preferred: • Experience with emergency disaster food stamp distribution• Experience in a state government environment with EBT/Foodstamp Programs• Knowledge of EXCEL and WORD • Knowledge of QA Track Record and NIKU Workbench project management tool• Knowledge of FSIS, EBTIS, Natural Disaster and other State Governments systems
