The NC Department of Revenue (DOR) is seeking to fill a short term (approx. 12 month) assignment for a Schedule Manager/Master Project Scheduler to assist with developing and managing integrated program and project schedules for the agency’s critical strategic initiatives.
The Master Project Scheduler has the following primary responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain integrated master and supporting schedules including existing schedules for projects that are currently underway.
• Institute program and project scheduling standards, including implementing recommendations made by third-party project scheduling experts.
• Apply resource management processes developed by/for the agency.
• Recommend improvements to scheduling processes and tool configurations, in accordance with the agency’s maturity and capability.
• Provide fundamental to advanced schedule management training to the agency’s project management staff.
In performing these responsibilities, the Master Project Scheduler is expected to understand and incorporate best practices in the 9 knowledge areas of project management, and adhere to the project standards and processes established by the EPMO.
